Full exam mode
A few of you have written to me asking to sit both papers back to back without seeing your Paper 1 score in between. I thought it was a great idea… so here it is! 🙂
You can now choose Full exam next to a set in the simulator:
- Sit Paper 1, then take up to five minutes’ break before Paper 2 starts automatically. You can start sooner if you’re ready.
- Results appear after both papers, so your Paper 1 score won’t distract you from Paper 2.
- Questions are shuffled within each paper, and the usual extra-time options are available.
- You cannot pause, but you can submit either paper early. If you lose your connection, you can return and continue with the time remaining.
It’s a chance to practise your pacing and concentration across a whole set. Afterwards, you can review your answers and solutions as usual.
Thank you for the suggestions—please keep them coming!
A small footnote!
During last Saturday’s live mock disruption, someone transcribed and shared Paper 1 on Discord with impressive speed! 😂 I was alerted, joined as JZMaths, and am grateful to the server owner for promptly removing it. Members seemed more interested in whether I was an impostor, though—so yes, it really was me! 🙂
