Coming soon: interview preparation videos

I have planned to do this sooner, but upgrade work on the site has taken longer than planned. Still, better late than never, so I'm planning to make a couple of videos on interview preparation for my YouTube channel:

• Video 1: What the interview is about, and how to prepare. General advice on what interviewers are looking for, what to expect on the day, and generally how to prepare for it.
• Video 2: A mock interview question. I'll work through an interview-style question from start to finish, so you can see how a conversation might unfold and how you might think out loud.

Is there anything else about interviews you'd like to know, or something you'd like me to cover? Please email me at jzmaths@hotmail.com.

As a side note, you can now delete practice attempts from history, and I have increased the deletion allowance to 7 deletions every rolling 7 days. The limit is there, because each deletion will trigger a full recalculation of all the derived stats associated with your mastery.

Practice attempts do not in themselves directly affect your mastery, but they do change question last attempt timer, which indirectly affects mastery if you were to attempt a paper you did for practice, soon after in exam mode. The second attempt in exam mode, will have reduced weighting to affect mastery, until a couple of weeks have passed.

The deletion limit is there because each deletion is very computationally intensive on the server. 😄
