PLUS beta grade boundaries
These tables convert your raw marks on the PLUS beta Exam Sets into estimated TMUA scores, based on students’ performance on each question. They are indicative estimates, not official TMUA grade boundaries, and will be updated as more students complete the papers.
Understanding the two scales
The tables show estimated scores on two scales:
- 2024+: An estimate on the current TMUA scoring scale. Use this when preparing for an upcoming exam.
- 2017–23: An estimate on the historical TMUA scoring scale, using official past-paper conversion tables as a reference. This helps you compare your performance with older papers.
There is no official conversion between the two scales, so the comparison is approximate. These are the same two estimates shown on your dashboard.
